The world of politics – stiff and formal? Not in the case of this political monitoring company. Director of Newsdirect Kirsty Regan has over the past 10 plus years developed her company from its origins as a press cuttings agency into the go-to resource for political monitoring, research and awareness training. Much of this reputation has been built upon Kirsty and her staff-s friendly and unstuffy approach. Buoyed by this growing reputation Newsdirect set out on a rebranding exercise to enable the word to spread even more.
Working in close collaboration with Kirsty we decided that what was needed was the creation of a branded character that would give a voice to the collective warm personality and expertise of the business. A business that understands the language of politics and business organisations alike and who acts like a conduit to translate one to the other.
The resultant work can regularly be seen injecting its colourful personality at political conferences across Scotland and more recently a young sibling, Newsdirect Wales, is currently making an impression on the Welsh political map.
